I submitted a research presentation yesterday, and today they sent an email for the interview invitation.

Not on waitlist. To the users that posted about interviews, would you mind sharing your profile and interest CS field?

Formal interview invite after preliminary interview with PI M.E.

Was invited for the graduate recruitment day on the 4th of February. Although I feel very nervous.

No interview invite. Assumed rejection.

No interview via email. 3.94 GPA, 3 yrs neuro/psych research experience, multiple publications/conference presentations, letters from 2 faculty in the dept.

Super stoked! ~3 years research experience, 3 publications (2 published, 1 submitted), multiple conference presentations & presentation awards, 5 internships, 2 TA positions. Applied mid-November.

Got a preliminary interview with a PI 12/02/21 who told me they would send out full interview offers in the next 10-15 days; I did not get a full interview (my friend who is a student in the program confirmed that all the interview offers went out already).

Got an email saying I was accepted. Visit weekends: virtual 2/7-11, in person 3/31-4/2. No GRE, 3 great LORs, total 8 months of full-time research experience. Decent school (top 20), double major in chemical engineering and chemistry. 1 design competition, 1 poster presentation, 1 peer-reviewed conference proceedings first author. Lots of scholarships and honors.

Got an email from the department notifying me this morning.
