The rejection rolling basis is based on the acceptance they sent out and as those student accept then they keep rejecting . If they decline the offer then they move on to the next person. I THINK .

I emailed POI after being told that results would be released "soon" 15 days ago. He (who is also on the committee) said that results would be available early next week. FYI for those still waiting.

I called the department and am told that I am not in the accepted-waitlisted students' list. Rejections will come early next week. Feel free to call and ask the department.

No word on funding.

To Georgetown poster below: if you applied for one of the joint/dual MA/PhD program, applications are still being reviewed by the MA programs. My understanding after speaking with the Department is that if you applied for the PhD only, those acceptances have already been sent out. They will be sending out the remaining decisions at the end of the month. Hope that helps!
