it's always darkest before the dawn

Email that decision was posted to my portal. Kind rejection.

800 applicants for 5 spots. This wasn't one of my top choices, so I'm not really upset at all.

I received an acceptance letter from the graduate department through email. I don't know what the funding situation will be, but the letter says the program will contact me soon! 2a/2r/3p

Same here! Got the email but no change in status on the portal.

Ignore interview. Has anyone received an email about checking portal and saw nothing changed?

f@&% this sh!t im getting a burger and fries for dinner! looks like you have to be the messiah to get into a fully funded mfa! will be working hard to become jesus in the coming year! amen!!!!

ignore label, has anyone heard anything from or about University of New mexico??

The most polite rejections out of the rejections I received. Kudos to them for humanely putting down my dreams. I was really hoping for this one due to their publications, but it's not meant to be. I think I'll be closing out another year with no hope for an admittance. Waiting for Brown and Virginia Tech, but acceptances have already gone out for them. 1a/0w/5r/2p. (1a is from a program with a funding waitlist with little movement). See everyone next year?

full funding, spoke with both professors. really excited about this one!
