I got provisional acceptance into the program until I finish a couple of courses I am currently taking. I come from a different academic background. I got my masters in Food material science. I have presented at 3 international and 1 regional conference. I have two publications in preparation with relevant background in ChemE.

I just got an acceptance email from UC Davis today! So excited!!!!!! This is my first offer!!! I have a 3.8 undergrad GPA, 1 journal publication, 2 conference papers, 2 oral presentations, 1 poster presentation, and an honors thesis.

Received acceptance decision on application website, as well as an email to set up a Northeastern account. No interview beforehand.

First acceptance, yay! I had a lower (3.3) overall GPA but 3.7 last 60 credit hours at top 10 uni, 1 publication as 5th author in high impact journal, 4 years of on-campus research with each summer in other research positions. If anyone has a lower GPA and is reading this: don't be afraid to apply, just go for it!

system generated email to check my portal for a status update the other acceptances i had i always got emailed by the committee first saying congrats so just getting the system generated "please check your portal" was a little disheartening at first, but apparently doesn't mean anything !!

Anybody heard from Cornell Chemical Engineering?

I got an Email from the graduate admission person but did the status change in the application portal for others who have received an admit?

I'm so thrilled.

Interview with a professor I've had no contact with tomorrow. Honestly didn't think I'd hear anything from this school. Will update when I know more.
