To the poster who responded to my SDSU inquiry: thanks for your input! And I agree -- it comes down to the financial opportunities for me. Between CSULB and SDSU, LB seems the better choice for me. It's local, living is cheaper, and the tuition is slightly less. I'm mostly concerned that SDSU seems to have more scholarships/TAships available, but if they're also just as competitive as everywhere else, the two-year LB program outweighs SDSU's three-year for me.

Do not plan to accept as I have a better offer elsewhere. (No funding offered). Will be letting them know within a week.

Declined offers at: Purdue (breaks my heart to reject them), University of Arkansas, West Virginia University, Wichita State University, and the College of Charleston. Also took myself off the waitlist at the University of Virginia. Congrats to everyone on the waitlists, they’re all amazing programs!

Does anybody know whether Ole Miss has sent out all their rejections? I haven't heard from them after the Phase II email. I mailed them a few days ago, but haven't received a response yet.

I emailed yesterday I think, asking when decisions would come out, and I got a very sweet email today telling me I was not accepted. Best of luck to everyone else who has yet to hear-- I don't think acceptances have gone out, so I'll keep my fingers crossed, truly. :)

I emailed them the other day and got a reply stating that I'll be hearing back from them this week. I had asked in the email as well if acceptances had already been sent out and that part went ignored - so I guess they haven't? Ughhhhhhhh going crazy.

After hearing nothing for quite some time, I finally reached out to Thom Didato. He responded quickly and briefly, confirming that I'd been rejected. It sucks, but the part that's most annoying is that I had to reach out to them and that acceptances had been sent out a while ago. 2a/0w/6r

To the last BU poster, I can't imagine it applies to poetry, because we would've heard on here about the acceptances. Aside from which, fiction and poetry operate separately so I just don't think it's a cover-all statement. Translation: Fingers still crossed for all us poets.
