Got an email to check my portal. Small scholarship... still not sure I can afford it though

e-mailed to check status update today. Accepted off waitlist after a month of the waitlist notification. Offered 20k scholarship. I've committed elsewhere.

Checked portal (no notification by email, at least not yet): "Graduate Division Admission Denied." 3a/1w/16r/1p.

Email to check website. Took a long time coming, so was hoping for at least some personal touch, but it was a form rejection.

Status updated on portal.

Have any other MFA waitlisters received any info or accepted elsewhere? Not sure when to expect a final decision. The forum seems to be slowing down since we're nearing the end of April.

removed myself from the (evidently kinda long?) waitlist. lovely program but just not the year for me

rejected then accepted. TAship package to be laid out in the coming days. stoked like a wood stove

Waitlisted! Please decline if you aren't attending!!

Form rejection

Form rejection (finally). 3a/1w/15r/2p.

Emailed by Elizabeth Poliner re: coming off the waitlist. Declined the acceptance because deferral was not an option. 3a/1w/15r/2p.

Accepted off waitlist, right now no word on funding. Waitlisted by portal at the end of March. 3a/1w/15r/2p

Rejected off of waitlist.

released from the waitlist via a nice email from terri -- pretty crushed, but so excited for everyone that'll be starting in the fall!

Ignore waitlist. I emailed grad advisor & dept chair and crickets (I suspect they have an internal WL) Has anyone heard from UNM for CNF?

Got a voicemail and email follow-up from David Morris notifying me I was accepted for CNF. I was never notified that I was waitlisted, though I'm guessing I was because other acceptances and waitlists for UNLV went out weeks ago. Someone in draft mentioned that UNLV sometimes keeps a "secret waitlist" for CNF specifically, so I'm guessing that was true in my case. Honestly was counting this as a rejection. I've already accepted another offer so I'll be declining. But it really looks like an amazing program.

rejected off the waitlist after learning i was on the waitlist only by emailing them in late march. not blaming any individuals there, but this system/the communication is not very accessible, and probably an issue at many mfa's (especially funded mfa's?) anyway: makes me think! would love to talk about it! hope people at the programs are thinking about this, too (my reason for commenting, and since it's been so hard to get in touch / i haven't talked to any individual people from the program, just gotten anonymous departmental emails. maybe y'all look here, lol.)

Accepted off the waitlist and fully gobsmacked.
