Cut research fundings and grants that used to go to Econ departments. This gets rid of the systemic exploitation of predocs. The number of students majoring in economics is decreasing every year. Anything an economist can do can be done by a math or a cs major. Why pursue an academic career that pays less than a lingerie seller at a mall? | ||||
