I received the email about a quarter to five Friday evening. They said they'll let me know of any further developments in the coming weeks. Fingers crossed!

Email saying that portal has been updated. Form rejection with no additional stats about number of applicants, spots, etc.

Phone call acceptance!!! blahhhh, I'm so happy, I hope I did not embarrass myself.

Email from department GCS with offer package. Portal also changed.

Pleasant surprise! thought for sure since I didn't hear anything that I'd been rejected

Email to check portal.

Michener Center. Checked portal, said they would not send a rejection letter.

"If you wish to accept this offer of admission and the graduate assistantship, simply reply to this email in the next seven days indicating your desire to do so." "As of right now, you are on the wait list for a graduate assistantship." Couple of red flags here. I already have a good offer elsewhere, so I will be declining.

First acceptance!!! Call from Dr. Bar-nadav. No clear decision on funding, but here's hoping! 1a/1r/3p

Phone call for fiction! 5 per genre, funding details to come

CNF, phone call acceptance. Was told they accept 5/genre

Got the call yesterday evening; lovely conversation, said they accepted two poets and two fiction writers. Will very likely be accepting.

I received an email notification of my acceptance from a faculty in the program, with a fellowship award totalling 8,000 dollars. A follow-up email as well as an official offer letter from the University are to be expected soon. Application fee was waived, no interview, powerful Writing Sample, SOP and strong LOR. No GRE. No TOEFL.
