Got a text from the associate chair stating that I got in. Asked me to give him a call, ideally asap.

So excited!

After being rejected by 20 programs over the past two years, accepted to one that's a perfect fit. Good luck to everyone else applying this cycle.

Form letter.

honestly, I was so frazzled I didn't pay proper attention to the name but I'm pretty sure it was Sabina Murray. said more info/interview for teaching positions to come. so excited!!! 1a/0r/13p

Just got an email!

1a/0w/0r/9p thrilled!

quick turnaround, merit scholarship pending

First application decision of the season! No funding info yet.

First admission decision, and we're off to a good start! Not too surprised though...

Got a nice email from the dept. stating they "felt that you (I) deserved a brief word directly from the department." Didn't expect to get in because it had an MA component to it: low undergrad GPA, non-English major, didn't take the subject test, But have good publications including a top tier, and good work. Already got into Purdue with full funding too.

Very nice e-mail. 350 applicants. Unsure of the size of cohort.

Email from faculty member- further info from chair pending
