First application decision of the season! No funding info yet.

First admission decision, and we're off to a good start! Not too surprised though...

Got a nice email from the dept. stating they "felt that you (I) deserved a brief word directly from the department." Didn't expect to get in because it had an MA component to it: low undergrad GPA, non-English major, didn't take the subject test, But have good publications including a top tier, and good work. Already got into Purdue with full funding too.

Very nice e-mail. 350 applicants. Unsure of the size of cohort.

Email from faculty member- further info from chair pending

nice email with funding information.

One top tier publication; numerous others at small presses/ university sponsored lit journals.

Kind email notifying me of my acceptance. Official letter and funding details will arrive later this week.
