Ignore the status. It's May 25th and my application status is still "awaiting decision." Anyone knows what's going on at this school? Are they in the same planet as us? Obviously I am not waiting for their decision and I've attended another school already. Just asking out of curiosity. Why they've forgotten to answer? P.S.: Application fee = 155 USD

Finally heard back from Rutgers. I guess hearing nothing/no updates in the portal was a soft waitlist? I got an email from one of the Professors I had spoken to before I applied notifying me I had been admitted off the waitlist. Wanted to post here since I know a lot of us haven't heard anything from the department...seems like there has been movement.

Was offered admission back in February 23rd, was on the waitlist for funding. Finally an offer with full tuition remission and stipend has arrived. Hasn't even set in fully yet. Notified via mail on 15/04/23. First cycle applicant. Grad GPA 3.6. 2 publications. 1 conference presentation. IELTS 8.5. Ending the application season with 1a/1w/1r. Best of luck to y'all! Never lose hope, an offer might just be around the corner.
