Accepted!! Undergrad research experience with lots of involvement!

Recently interviewed for a potential fellowship!

This is my first acceptnace, I am absolutely thrilled!

So excited, this was my top choice! 3.71 cu* GPA, 4.07 major GPA. The email says funding will be decided later but before the April 15th deadline.

The whole rejection letter is talking about how fit the admitted candidates are. Basically telling me how unfit and not worthy I am. I get it that you don't want me. This is pretty hurtful. Good luck guys

Ecstatic! Some info: did not take GRE. 4.0 CSD GPA. Undergrad degree in a different, related field. Volunteer, work, leadership, and research experience.

Reply: AMCS and pure math have separate grad directors...

TTPB: I emailed Dr. Curtu ages ago and she said results will likely be released first week of March. I emailed her again recently and have yet to heard back. How did you phrase your email when you inquired about your status?

Inquired director thru email and told it is highly likely I'll be given an offer.

Email from Stephen Voyce. 3.6 GPA at a private not-well-known liberal arts school. 3.9 MA at a state school. 2 conferences/3 publications

The program coordinator sent a congratulation email, but also said that the financial support will be sent out in a few weeks. I applied for PhD program but here they initially accept students to the MS program first. Hope the financial support would be good since this is my top choice.
