I thought I was in like slim here, I'm doing research w/prof here who collabs w/prof there...wtf? I'm being pushed more to Columbia's TC everyday.

Received an email that I was on the waitlist 2 weeks ago. There are only 3 spots this year.

With ~70 applicants and 3 offers made, being waitlisted is an honor in itself.

I\'m visiting other programs that I got into that are just masters, and I don\'t like them. My sister called me and read me the letter while I was standing in a store, and I started screaming... my Irish luck kicked in today :)

This was my last school to hear from.... No PhD acceptances this year, just waitlisted or rejected over and over and over.... ghaaa!!

Not a ranked waitlist.

I had to email them to get this info

I had to email THEM to get this rejection! Its a bummer - was my first choice.

To the person who made the 1st cut, what are you stats? I've heard nothing as of yet.

Checked my admission status, changed from "no decision" to "admitted"

Not my top choice, but first acceptance, so I'm happy! I should have applied for their PhD...

someone wrote me an email to check the application status on the grad studies website. rejected.

rejected through email

No word on funding.
