Overall gpa 3.6, major gpa 3.4. Good recommendations and plenty of experience in the field as well as a minor and a specialization. The email said I have been accepted and should expect official correspondence from the program soon.

To the person who emailed them about your portal update, what did they tell you if they responded to your email? I’m still waiting to hear back but idk if I should send an email as well asking when I could possibly be hearing back

Pretty pumped since I can afford this program!! Thinking of accepting, but still waiting on UMASS (waitlisted) and Bridgewater State. GRE's are definitely not everything. Lot's of experience, good LOR's, and worked hard on my personal statement!

Most likely will not be accepting any future offer if I get one.

Acceptance letter came in mail today

It frustrates me that many of you all have not heard back from ETSU. I'm currently in the same boat with UVA--they seem to be sending out their decisions in "waves" instead of all at once, which is stupid. I wonder if ya'll could reach out to the department/ Shelia Bennett about your application status. They were really helpful to me when I was applying and have been communicating with them throughout this process as I'm trying to make my decisions for graduate school. I understand how frustrating it is as I'm in the same boat with UVA :( good luck to everyone!

I believe the person that made the Facebook page did that because FSU's program is 6 semesters long, instead of the more normal 5 semesters. Does anyone have any idea why FSU's program is an extra semester? Very excited to get accepted, however, I'm concerned about the extra tuition/extra time.

Interviewed on 1/25/18 and got a phone call 3/15/18 that I was accepted into the graduate program. I got accepted to another school so I'll be declining this acceptance. Hopefully this will help out another student. Good luck everyone! :)

Happy to have been waitlisted I have yet to be accepted anywhere. This isn't my top choice, although I loved the faculty. I did not know what they were looking for in there essay and group interviews. But at least now I have a chance of going to grad school. Congrats to everyone else.
