Strange result.

MSAAD

3.84 GPA, with an undergraduate degree in architecture. Only applied for advanced standing, didn't bother with the 3 year option, not worth it for someone with a background in architecture. Highly disappointed.

Accepted to 3-year program with $22,900/yr scholarship

Canadian Sheridan animation grad, been working in the animation industry as a location designer for 3 years.

Does anybody know how many students get admitted and what the ratio of international and domestic is (or where could I find this info)? Also how many students with no arch background are granted admission?

"Your application for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy program in the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, & Design has been given careful consideration. I regret to advise you that we are unable to offer you admission and realize this news will be a disappointment to you. Graduate departments receive many applications and can only offer admission to a limited number of the most highly qualified applicants"

MSAAD

Advance standing w/ $$

Wasn't surprised in the slightest but really disappointed at how inconsiderate this was towards all rejected applicants

No reason provided.

I'm not even sad. At least have some respect for your applicants.

Canadian student with B.SC undergrad in Architecture, 3.53 GPA, and 3 years of professional working experience in Architecture. Applied to UofT M.Arch (2yr advanced standing) and was rejected to both 2 and 3 yr options.. Very surprised and let down..

Not surprised considering how long it took them. Shame on them for taking so long...

Email to check website. After such a long wait, it was expected...

Oh, I forgot to mention this below. I got rejected by Ryerson and Manitoba for the same program. So keep your hopes up! You never know what Canadian Universities expect.
