Submitted application - 04/01, invitation for phone interview - 15/01, interview -18/01, changed to "awaiting approval from GAO" on 08/02. To the poster below - I believe this means we have been offered a place by the department but it needs to be formalised by admissions.

Moved to 'awaiting approval by GAO'.

I've had a conditional offer of admission, although according to the website most offers are conditional...now waiting for the email which will tell me what my conditions are.

"Awaiting approval by GAO" on 08 FEB. Does this likely mean admission?

30-minute Skype interview on 30th Jan, offer from department on 13th Feb

Submitted on 29/12, interview with potential supervisor on 26/01, status changed from "under review by department" to "awaiting approval by GAO" on 08/02, conditional offer made 13/02 via portal.

GAO for me too.

Same question here as asked by the poster below. My other doubt is whether they consider TOEFL score while making conditional offer. I got 95 (minimum requirement is 100) so, are there chances I might get rejected. I belong to List-B countries.

Can anyone please tell me if "Awaiting approval by GAO" implies that I am pretty much accepted and the only thing for the offer to be made is some administrative processing?

English PhD applicant too - still with degree committee. Had the funding interview last day of January but heard nothing else.

GAO on Feb 12th.

To the person asking below Applied: 4th Jan Under consideration by Degree Committee: 9th Feb Offer: 12th Feb No news on funding as yet

Moved to "awaiting approval from GAO" today. Was at degree committee on 6th February. Will be looking forward to conditional offer soon.

To the poster below, congrats! Can you share your application timeline? Also, anything on funding? Thanks.
