I was waitlisted at Emory back in late-February. If you have an offer there, but you don’t plan to accept, let them know as soon as possible. It’s my top choice.

Rejected from the PhD, offered a spot in the MSPH program (unfunded). The acceptance letter contradicts a lot of the feedback in the rejection letter, so it was weird to receive one of each. They also sent instructions on how to register for the visit day, but you can't register because it's already full.

I had an interview on Mar 6th. They told me they will send a result next week but I got it on 9th. I don’t know how many offers they are going to give this year.

To the poster below, did they indicate how many offers to send out this year during the interview?

To the person recieved offer on Mar 9: when did your had interview? I had interview exactly on Mar 9 and they told me they still have interviews in the coming week. So they send out offers before they interview all candidates?

And there it is. Saw it coming since I didn't get an interview. Not sure why it took so long; a soft waitlist, perhaps?

From Emory's website: " Each program will also typically maintain a healthy waitlist and programs will sometimes extend additional interview invitations later in the process." - does this ever happen?
