Former chemistry undergrad at this university. Got a 4.0 in five philosophy classes taken as a non-degree student elsewhere. I was referred to the MAPH program, but let's be honest: it's a cash-cow program that's absolutely not worth the price. I don't miss UChicago so much that I'd be willing to come back under those conditions!

got put on a "short waitlist" hopefully theres room to move up.

3.6 MA GPA. 0a/0w/1r/21p

3.82 MA degree. Checked portal. 0a/0w/1r/19p

3.82 MA degree. Checked portal. 0a/0w/1r/19p

I got an email with a link to the portal saying there’s a status update on the application. Has anyone heard anything about the funding?

No email. Portal updated.

VERY grateful. Wondering about funding

Email to check the portal

1 day after the interview. Funding information has not been released.

During the interview, the DGS mentioned that the results would be announced next week. If I haven't received any notification yet, does that mean I've been rejected? Also, I'm not sure if the waitlist has been released. Does anyone know how many students are admitted to this program each year?

Interviewed on 1/27. MA GPA 3.98

They said they'd let me know closer to April 15 if I'm moved up from the waitlist.
