GPA is MA in theology.

Surprised and disappointed. Entering with MA, high GPA, decent GRE, tons of honors, etc.

not surprised, I wasn't a good fit

The details (e.g. conditions and/or additional requirements) are set out in official letter, which I shall receive in the future. So happy to be admitted, good luck to you guys.

Applied for PhD and was wait-listed for Ma.

I regret to inform you that I am unable to approve your application for admission to the Graduate Program in Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Riverside for the Fall 2016 term. A number of factors are considered in evaluating each applicant, including the following: a student's undergraduate preparation, scholarship average, requisite test scores, whether the research interests of faculty are relevant to those of the applicant, and whether an applicant can be accommodated by the department to which application is made. Unfortunately, it is not possible for the university to accept all who apply, and each department must screen applications carefully to find the best qualified students. For this reason, many excellent applicants must be denied admission. If you have questions, please contact the Graduate Program in Ethnic Studies. I sincerely hope that you will be able to pursue your academic training at another institution.

with funding offer

Spoke to the Graduate Adviser today (finishing BA here now); he said official emails would be going out today and tomorrow. Offer includes funding + TA-ship

Spoke with Prof. Emails going out tonight and tomorrow.

Yeah. No money to study.

Still doing Bachelor in The Netherlands, haven't heard anything about ESOP

Accepted with Dean's Peace Corps Paul D. Coverdell Fellowship Award, which is only $6k a year. Waiting to hear back about Financial Aid because I'm not looking to go into debt.

I'm really excited to have been admitted but I don't yet know whether I'll enroll. Still waiting for news from financial aid.

Very excited.
