After being rejected from 10 schools finally :D

TPB: Do you receive the email today? When did you send them email? I asked them one week ago and they did not decide to send out acceptance at that time. Are you gonna accept this offer? Thank you very much!

I do not hear anything from the department and recently I emailed the director of graduate study at [email protected] and aslo graduate program coordinator at [email protected]. They told me I was admitted. The coordinator responses email very slowly or even does not reply email. Thus I recommend you guys to send emails to the coordinator and the director at the same time. Hope you get good luck!

TPB: how did you know that you are rejected?

Undergrad math and physics from the top 20 - already accepted UCLA offer!

Anyone else still waiting to hear from them? Do you think we are in a kind of waitlist, or is it the case that they haven't sent any rejection yet?

The reject may be partly explained by my failure to meet the priority deadline for applying. On 04/17/2020, I was mailed to check application portal for decision. First GRE attempt was 307 (Q: 154; V:153, AWA:4.0). I sent both scores. I also have an MPH degree from the UK. Anyways, I could care less since I eventually got into my dream school which is way better.

Whats wrong with this department? When do they send out rejs?

Received an email to check the portal. Rejected from the waitlist, very informal to notify until April 24th.

I contact [email protected] and got my offer. Great! Finally received an answer from UNC after submitting the application.

Declined on 16th. Good luck to those in the wl!

I went to interviews in Feb > waitlisted > rejected

Emailed to check website. Expected rejection and decided to go to another school anyways. I think this is probably final, probably no more rounds of admission.

For those of you rejected from UNC, good luck you dodged a bullet. This program is so rude. You're better off elsewhere.

To the poster below, I was also waitlisted awhile ago and have heard nothing since. I do not know if their program is already full or not.

Agree with the post below. Same thing with UCLA. Not that I care about the result at this point, but it's just so disrespectful.
