GPA is Master's

Received invitation in late Jan for interviews this week.

Interview 2/11

Hold a MD degree and was admitted to an accelerated program. (Initially applied a 2-year standard program) Really excited for the first admission after the first rejection.

To the poster blow: I had submitted the application to UCLA school of public health and didn' t have any feedback from them. I want to know the POI was the person you contacted previously or the person appointed by the admission committee? Thank you very much.

Positive feedback from POI; and this is the lesson I learned from this application cycle: there is no correlation between contacting POI and admission, it's even better to NOT contact POI.

Has anyone heard back from the Global Health and Population track? To the poster below: which track were you accepted to?

GPA is from Master's. Really disappointed.

Interviewed mid December

Maternal and Child Health Track. Under 3.0 undergrad cGPA and decent GRE scores. I think relevant work experience and reaching out to potential advisors in the fall helped me gain admittance.
