I had interviews with each 3 faculty about my previous research. 5 years of research experience, 6 publication (2 first author, 2 co-first author paper), 5 patents, 2 oral presentations / many poster presentations.

Received an email with a private link to check my application results.

TPB: cannot agree more. Perhaps UNC econ department is full of monsters. How can an educated person say anything like that. Damn it. Really asshoxx. Fxxk them all. (Admitted to top 5 schools)

Kick UNC econ department's assxxxx. So ugly of their words. I was admitted to much better school, ok? Disgusting and rude enough. Fxxk them! To prospective student: it is really not worthwhile to apply for this damn UNC Econ PhD program at all. Cherish your money, there are so many better program with better people.

While reading *I must inform you that it will not be possible to offer you admission* in that letter, first I was feeling very angry and then feel relieved! The worst and slowest admission process and the worst and dumbest rejection letter! Sucks, UNC.

Check the website and a letter there. "I must inform you that it will not be possible to offer you admission to the Economics program." Disaster application process for having no new news for 5 months and most horrible most disrespectful and rudest rejection words.
