Hi to the 2 posters regarding the Counselling MA at McGill: I asked via uApply when we would receive responses to the Internship stream and they replied the they are in the final stages of decision-making and should release the decisions by end of March. The waiting is awful ;)

Has anyone heard anything from this program? My app still just says "submitted".

to the poster below: I haven't yet! I'm super frustrated and stressed! i also having other standing offers i need to reply to by the 26th. i got general replies from the department that i will hear back from the Project concentration by April 1st and from the Internship concentration by April 15th. I then emailed the supervisor that interviewed me (for Project concentration) and they said: the first round of decisions was already rolled out beginning of March. so if you didn't hear back it means you don't have an offer. However, she didn't mention whether or not there will be a second round of admissions and if yes when. I'm not even waitlisted, both of my applications still say 'in review' ...

Got an email asking to check portal. Portal said "Your Application has been refused". GRE 325, TOEFL 107, GPA 9.14 NIT-A, 1 publication.

Received an email notifying to check the portal for decision. 2 internships in regional IT companies. 1 year research experience as ura.

I received an email regarding MEDA from the faculty of engineering and then they retracted it (2nd email), saying that the email was sent to all nominees instead of the awardees. To those who got the MEDA, did they also send the 2nd email to you?

via email. I had applied lately, wasn't accepting a reply so early. I hope this was not a hasty decision. disappointed for sure!

surprised by the abruptness of decisions, i had applied late so was not expecting decision this early. Application status in morning was "submitted" and within span of 12 hrs application changed from submitted to under review to refused.. amazing.

An email said to log in to see the decision. While other universities call it a "decision letter", McGill web site suggests to click the link to see the "refusal letter"...

Posters of both PhD and MS applicants of Mcgill, did any of you have interview with any professor or contacted professors earlier? What was your research field?
