Accepted conditional on achieving an overall First and 19/22 in my final year.

Has anyone phoned the GAO to confirm if offers are going out? Been at GAO for about two weeks now...a bit concerning.

81% average from University of Manchester. I suppose it's not enough?

Been on "Awaiting approval on GAO" for a while now. But, recently been informed by my department that I have been dominated by the department for funding. Would that mean I am pretty much in?

Already informed by the admissions office (whom I contacted via email to inquire about the status) regarding this decision prior to the official email which I received just now.

RE poster below: I also haven't received any updates for the MPhil in Politics And International Relations, still at GAO. By the way, we don't need to register to get access to CamSIS right? One should be able to find out about their decision through the app. portal or email, correct? Thanks you

No funding. But thrilled!!

Applied 1/4, GAO on 2/10, nervously awaiting a response. Any updates from anyone awaiting GAO for MPhil in International Relations and Politics?

I am the first poster below. I've already spoken to my potential advisor last November, and I have my second interview with another faculty on 1/18. They said that there has to be two faculties who have talked to you and both agreed that you can join this department. I actually got a "conditional" offer from Cambridge. The only condition is that I have to meet Cambridge's English test standard scores. (I got 104 on my TOEFL but my speaking score is lower than 25.) So I think it is possible you can get a conditional offer even if your English test score does not meet the standard yet. But I still do not know whether there will be any scholarship. Wish you luck!

Pretty extensive research, presentation, and work experience relevant to the field. Applied in early January.

Current application status in CamSIS is 'under review by degree committee'. Just called the PhD admission office and heard that the degree committee has decided to recommend the offer to the GAO. The status is to be updated in the next couple of days.

Contacted admissions office through email to inquire about the application status. They told me that my application was unsuccessful and I will receive the official rejection email in due course. My program was Ph.D. in Advanced Machine Learning.

RE poster below for the MPhil in IR and Politics: Yeah let's hope we hear from them soon next week. Good luck!!!

German poster from below with interview on 01/04. Offer of membership (Trinity College) on 01/26.

Interviewed for funding on the 5th.

Awaiting approval by GAO

Awaiting Approval from GAO

To the poser below from the MPhil International Relations and Politics - I'm in the exact same boat for the same course, went to GAO on Monday but haven't heard back after that. Let's hope that we hear good news when the system is back up on Tuesday - unfortunately I'm on a 29 hour flight that day so will be frantically searching for airport wifi!
