Extremely disappointed

Strong profile, LOR and decent SOP from India. It was always supposed to be hard to get an admit but still feel disappointed. I would be interested to see the profile of admits!

I really wonder what I could have done better... Excellent academic results, great professional and research experience, excellent recommendations. My congratulations to those admitted !!

applied HCP program and received rejected email. didn't think it is so competitive even for part time program. dream school and plan to apply for next year.

Keep fingers crossed guys. This is the message I see in the checklist: PhD and MS applications are being reviewed. Most PhD decisions have been made, if you have not received yours, please be patient a little longer while the faculty finish their review. No external MS decisions have been made, only internal coterminal decisions. We hope to have the external MS decisions by March 8th.

TPB: I got an email from the admission staff at MS&E 7 days ago. Perhaps your concentration area is still working on selecting candidates, so do not lose hope! Fingers Crossed~~~~~~

To the poster below: did you got the wait listed e-mail from the admission office, or from your POI? I haven't got any message from MS&E till now, quite nervous.

Again, I would like to ask if you got an offer from Stanford MS&E Ph.D. program in any discipline (I am waitlisted in the Quantitative Finance area), would you let me know the campus visiting day? Thanks in advance!

To the poster below: thanks, that makes sense! For the past few years the masters (not co-term) results for acceptance/rejection have all been released on the same day. So I suppose no news is good news for now.

Guys, I wrote to the admissions committee and they told me decisions have not been made yet. We'll have them Mid-march apparently!

To the people asking, you have to email [email protected] to receive your decision.
