Interview 27 - 29 Feb

My top choice! So excited!! Interview weekend Feb 27-29.

I had a good match with the prospective team's requirements. I had 3-4 interviews of which only two were strongly technical. Looking forward to innovating.

I got rejected from all 4 Canadian programs I applied to.

Got four rounds of interview, the earliest one from PoI in middle of January, then finished three others before Feb with various students and staff in the team. Was an excitement, but turned into a disappointment (within expectation though!) Hope you guys all the best.

I had been waitlisted and got a rejection email from the group director. Best wishes for those admitted, and for everyone else, continue to believe in yourselves.

re: Sorry I'd rather not say. The impression I got from the director is that I'm the only waitlisted person in the group. I'm also under the impression that some larger committee related to MAS is determining (or already has determined) who may come off the waitlist. The wait could be as long as May 1st.

To the poster below. Would you mind saying which group did you interview with after being waitlisted? Thanks for the info

First time poster in this section. I got waitlisted a long time ago. The group director asked me to interview on campus, so I gladly did. I'm hoping to still get accepted but haven't heard anything.

Anyone on the waitlist got any updates? Any information is appreciated (contact with PI, interviews, etc.) Must say, the wait is painful...

Generic rejection letter. Second time applying. Emailed POIs back and forth in two labs all autumn. Met with two POIs personally.

Fingers crossed I get off the waitlist! (For others, I also applied last year and found that they accepted/waitlisted people on Friday and sent rejections on Tuesday - was rejected last year)
