GPA 3.97 from top 20 US school, double degree math & CS, GRE 169Q/166V/5.0A. multiple publications and long-term research projects in AI. Rejected @9, accepted @1. Message to next year's applicants: don't overestimate yourself (apply to lower ranked universities even if you're a top student).

TTPB: From what I have heard, UCLA does have funding for MS students, but for that one needs a research advisor (better if you contacted/interviewed with a faculty previously).

Ignore waitlist. TTPB - the person asking about UCLA poi initials. Actually, the email I received did not mention any prof initials. It just mentioned that after I accept the offer, I will be assigned an academic advisor, but I am not sure if that entails an RA/TA opportunity with funding. My area is ML AI Vision. I am confused at this point whether to accept the offer. Does UCLA offer RA/TA-ships for MS students?

Has anyone heard back for MS acceptance? I still have absolutely nothing. I emailed them a few days ago using their support site and got no reply.

Got waitlisted

It's now the end of March and still heard absolutely nothing. An email I received in January said all decisions would be out by March 15th. What's going on? Is it just delays or should I worry there's something wrong with my application?

TTPB: one who got admit from UCLA did you received admit today? Are they done with masters decisions? Have they completed evaluation and can others expect reject message if didn't heard anything till now as it is already late of march according to their website. If any one knows any information about decisions please post it.
