Applied with low overall GPA but 3.55 in the discipline and in the last 30 hours of classes.

The GPA I have up there is undergrad, and my Master's GPA is 4.03. Basically, I just received an email instructing me to check the portal, and all I saw was a rejection. I have been an instructor in a well-reputed university in Asia for three years, but I still failed to make the cut. So I guess research experience matters more than I thought.

I did write “University of Michigan personal statement” on my SOP for this one by accident, which, though not the main reason I was rejected, probably did not help my case

no email, just checked portal and found out I've been rejected

Email to check portal. 3.63 CC GPA, 51st percentile math GRE

Accepted + Funding Package! They're flying me out for a visit next week, very excited!

Email to check portal. GPA is Master's.

Received an email instructing me to check the application portal.

Got an email reminder to check the portal. A few publications and conference pres, linguistics background

3+ years amo research experience, no publications, 3 posters and 1 talk

Notified by email to check application status. Huge bummer— this was my top choice, but it sounds like there were a ton of applicants this cycle.

7 applied/ 2 rejections/ 1 waitlist Ahahahaha. I applied to some PhD programs straight out of undergrad, which may have contributed here? Still waiting to hear back from other schools and on the waitlist at another. Good luck to everyone—I hope your offers all work out!
