ignore status!!! has anyone heard back from NYU for the masters online counseling program?

IGNORE STATUS! Heard from the admissions department that they will send out interview invites before the end of Jan. Good luck to everyone!

Reached the interview phase with POI, received email from said POI 5 days later about rejection due to lack of funds/delay of funds.

IGNORE STATUS. Has anyone heard back from Steinhardt's PhD program?

No GRE and my DPD GPA was likely the deciding factor. Accepted to Rutgers.

For the in-person program. Rejected off the waitlist.

Lack of experience or LOR was not strong enough

I was invited to interview with NYU on 3/24/22 after having submitted my application on 1/13/22 and had zero communication from them in between this time. I talked with other applicants who had interviewed and been accepted before I received my invitation, and ultimately concluded I was no longer in the running...While it turns out I did get an interview and would have the opportunity to gain admissions, I have decided that my other acceptances are a better fit for me personally, am honored by the merit awards I received, and am excited about my future in graduate school & the field of art therapy! I hope someone who had NYU as their top choice is able to get in -- and I hope all of this information is helpful to someone else in the admissions process (you still might get an interview with NYU) or future applicants applying next year!
