To the guys below: I am still waiting too. I asked a friend of mine who studies at UIUC to go the graduate office and inquire about the date they plan to send rest of the admissions. (they didn't reply to my emails) they said that they cannot set a certain deadline and that it can differ for different people. considering that it would be unlikely for us to get financial assistance from UIUC faculty by April 15th at this point, I have given up waiting for this school.

Has anyone heard anything from ME? March is over and still no updates whatsoever.

No financial assistance directly from the department. Have been asked to contact faculty for possible Research Assistantship.

Accepted today. Took long enough. No funding, but will be looking for RA position.

To the poster below: I don't what you wish is likely to happen. One of my friends is in America. He went to UIUC ME department about 10 days ago to see the reason for this delay. They told him admitted students should contact faculty like previous years

To the posters below: I did not ask about Phd candidates. I would recommend calling them. And to the person that asked about funding...good question. Two weeks is not very much time to find an RA position. I'm crossing my fingers they will offer funding if I get an admit letter.

To below: Thanks for sharing. They didn't reply to neither of my two emails. Considering that admitted master students to UIUC should contact the faculty for RA, is there any chance we get funded before April 15th if admitted?

I called the department today, they informed me all masters decisions will be sent out by April 1st. Hope this helps anybody who is still waiting like me.
