:(

summer 2025 program

Email to check the portal followed by an email from the dean of the graduate school. No info on funding yet. Fingers crossed!!

Generic email. I have a first class BFA and am currently completing an MA in Humanities with a concentration in Literature. My undergraduate GPA was 8.7/10 and my current average is 9.3/10. I scored 115 in the TOEFL iBT. In 2023 I won a Spanish national poetry prize.

$6,000 graduate scholarship and pending need-based aid. First acceptance, though! 1a/1wl/1r/6p

Dean's Scholarship: Full Tuition + Health Insurance, No Stipend. Very grateful for this opportunity but I guess I'll have to start applying for jobs in NYC to pay rent. 1a/0w/8r

Accepted with a full tuition waiver but no stipend. Hopefully, there’s funding to come, otherwise will have to decline. 3a/2w/9r

Email from program, portal not yet updated. $20k total funding, so likely have to decline for financial reasons. Older (40), science degrees, several notable publications, and some top workshops under my belt. 2a/0w/2r to end this application cycle.

I was notified via email that I'm being placed on a list of alternates. Please, if you're not considering Utah, I'd appreciate it if you could notify them much earlier. Thank you!

Email from program, portal not yet updated. Funding details to be included in the formal offer letter, sent over the next two weeks. Older (40), science degrees, several notable publications, and some top workshops under my belt. NYU is my top choice, so hoping funding shakes out!
