Got mail for status update. Absolutely elated! :D Applied specialisation in Computing Systems

No email. Simple rejection. Standard email.

Checked portal (I was checking it every 15 min, to be honest) and saw an update (says "posted on April 2") but it was not there 15 min ago. No email notification about an update. Seriously depressed, was my dream school for 7 years. Everyone's who's waiting - go log into the portal, maybe you'll get an update too.

GRE: 325 TOEFL: 111 CGPA: 3.5/4 4 publications, good projects, 6 internships, Strong SOP and LORs, MLH Fellow, All for nothing. GaTech scammed us!

TTPB: The guy who got rejected from 10/18 colleges even though having 2 research papers and decent GPA, and decent work ex. Is this guy unlucky or what?

Woke up and saw a portal update email! Applied for visual analytics track. Have 1 publication. Will go for another program though.

2 LOR from GeorgiaTech professors (thrid one from a professor at my current school), two semesters as exchange student at GeorgiaTech getting a 4.0 GPA. Research assistant at GeorgiaTech during the second semester. Double Major in CS and Math at UGR (Spain) with a decent avarage grade. No working experience (not a thing here). A bit suprised by the rejection, no idea what they want

Received an admit at 1:24 a.m. IST, super happy! :D

Totally unexpected. Georgia tech was ambitious plus I fucked up while filling the form. Will vacate my seats in other colleges. Thanks.

Already decided on a different uni. However, would have felt good if I got an admit to GaTech.
