MEng Comp Sci (not Cornell Tech), just got email acceptance - says formal acceptance letters to be sent in 5-7 days. 1 year exp at small biotech start-up, 2 publications in CV conference, 2 pubs in student conference

Is there anyone else who has not heard back from Cornell MSCS? I tried emailing them regarding the status of my application but did not get a response.

Ecstatic and pleasantly surprised! US math undergrad w/ 3.3 GPA, 168/168/5.0 GRE, and no pubs (yet). 4.5 years of SWE work ex in web, ML, and distributed systems. Rejects from Stanford MSCS and CMU MSCS, MSML, MIIS, and MCDS. Deferred previous fall 2020 admission to on-campus GATech MSML for fall 2021. Awaiting on-campus MSCS decisions from Columbia, UCLA, and UT Austin

Really thought I was a good fit. Being from Latin America is such a big hurdle. People with access to the research world during their undergrad don't know how good they have it.

M.S. program - Under graduate major was Computer engineering, no minor. I had an internship and outside funding that I think was a significant boost.

Admitted to M.Eng. Computer Science in the Ithaca campus via an email this morning. No GRE submitted. > 3.9 GPA, 3x FAANG intern, research for over 2 years, 1 publication. Have until April 15 to decide.

TTPB: Oh whoops, just noticed you're comparing the ITHACA Meng and not Cornell Tech Meng. Can't help much there, I don't know much about the Ithaca one and didn't apply to it. The comparison below is for Cornell Tech Meng for anyone else interested.
