Lord who made the lion and the lamb, you decreed I should be what I am, but would it spoil some VAST ETERNAL PLAN... if I got into a PhD program?

Didn't even bother sending a rejection letter. I just happen to check to the website.

To Rutgers PhD clinical psych post-interview rejection poster, what are your POI initials (the POI who cited lack of funding)?

Very happy about this news as this was one of the top two programs for me. To everyone still waiting for good news, I was rejected last year from two of the three places I applied, including Rutgers. Do not give up hope if you were rejected. It means you have more time to do your own thing! Stay strong and flexible. Personally, I think applying to more programs than I thought I could made me better at navigating the process. I hope this helps. 3a/1interview/0w/0r/8p

PsyD. Invited to interview for a position in Master's Program

Generic email in spam. Rejected without interview. Career changer.

Unofficial offer, received full funding $25k, pleasantly surprised

PsyD. Generic mass email. "I am sorry to inform you that the Admissions Committee, which reviewed your application and credentials, did not recommend admission." Expected as interview was yesterday and I was not invited.

Just received by mail...

Reply to the person who was accepted without funding: I only saw an update on my status. I have not received a letter or email with more information, but I plan to call tomorrow. Also I think it's in poor taste to refer to admittance without funding as a rejection. You see my GPA and know that I had to work unbelievably hard to make up for past mistakes, so to hear someone scoff at what I consider to be an offer worth full celebration comes off as ungrateful tbh. Best of luck and I will update if I receive funding news.

Email from Director of Graduate Studies, will receive official offer in the next couple of weeks.

No funding. Unofficial acceptance.

GPA is from Masters' in Economics. No funding. Wait-listed for fellowship.

gpa is from another phd program around 50th... got rejected by Duke but then received an acceptance from Rutgers, it's still unofficial. First year no less than $25,000, following four years no less than $25,969 (TA/GA), plus health benefits. Still a little sad about Duke but anyway, a huge relief.
