To comments below: Yes I am accepted, it was an error on their end. The name is Rebecca C, and no the last name is not a color. My best guess is they forgot to change the name when they send me the letter, it's pretty unlikely they got the email address wrong and addresses my name in the email but not the attachment. I was going to withdraw anyway since I have gotten into a better school so I declined the offer. Good luck!

TTPB: Is the last name the name of a color? I'm on the waitlist

Received an email acceptance but the acceptance letter inside the email have someone else's name on it. I don't know if I'm actually accepted they just messed up the letter, or they send it to the wrong person.

ADD TO POST BELOW: only 1 year of no teaching, not 2. Sorry I can't read, read the letter too fast because of excitement lol.

Offered Lulu Johnson fellowship, 36k plus full health and dental insurance, no teaching duties the first two years. Potential extra summer 6k funding.

accepted with funding, acceptance and TA offer letters from department attached in email

Letter postmarked for the 5th

Not surprising, given the program's most recently declared direction. 0a/0w/4r/2p

Got an email from ISSS

Postmarked letter from March 5

I was admitted about a month ago but there is still no information on funding. They said that it could take several weeks to finalize. Has any of you receive financial support offer yet?

Received an email from a faculty asking about my interest. Later was told that there are still a several candidates before me on the waiting list, and there's no high hope for getting in. I guess this counts as a rejection.

I have removed myself from the waitlist.

This stings pretty bad given last year's frankly embarrassing manuscript was enough to place me on the wait list.
