Interviewed with the program coordinator a over a month ago, she told me I should hear back in a week or two, followed up after 3-4 weeks, and just got *forwarded* my rejection and an apology for the delay. Kind of bummed, but I can't help but laugh and feel like maybe I dodged a bullet with this program.

Will probably turn down my acceptance, so hopefully this helps someone on the waitlist!

Out of field. Placed on the alternate list which essentially is their way of saying rejection while ensuring they have back ups if everyone dips. Have 4 other acceptances from preferred schools.

Actually put on the "alternate" list which is below waitlist. But I already took my name off because I've been accepted to other schools. Good luck to those on the waitlist and congrats to those who got accepted!

This is my home undergraduate school, and I am so excited to attend ISU! Such a great program. Can't wait for Fall 2019 :)

TO THE POSTER BELOW: I emailed with the same question, and got this response: "We have not sent out all offers or all waitlist notifications. Initial offers are made (direct to the applicants) and then we continue through the waitlist until our class is made. Then we will send out our denial notifications. If you would like information on your status prior to receiving a notification, then you are welcome to contact our Director of Admissions, Professor Walton Muyumba."
