I emailed and asked from programme coordinator whether i got admission or not. he informed me that this time they can not offer me an admission.

2 years research experience at argonne national lab and my school (University of North Texas) in materials science. BS Physics.

Was admitted to Princeton but not UIUC. Not mad, just confused.

Received generic rejection email from associate head of admissions on Sunday !!
