To the poster below about McGill, in what area did you guys apply? Hep-theory by any chance? The professors don't seem to respond, at least from that area (K. Dasgupta and A. Maloney). I have 0 hopes, just waiting for my rejection anyway xD

Haven't received any news. Emailed prof with whom I had good relation and got no response. Two of my friends have already been accepted, both with a lower profile than me. This is strange.

To the poster asking about funding details, yes. They have sent out MEDA offers, and I received one. Masters degree, 4 years research experience (close to 2 years allied research exp in the area), two publications (2nd and 3rd author) in 4.x impact factor journals, 1 year teaching experience, and strong letters of recommendation. Contacted and got favorable response from POI before application (as is required for applying to McGill). Website/uApply hasn't been updated yet though. That will take some time, and be after the initial rounds I guess.

Any civil engineering applicant like me still waiting to hear from them? It's been like ages, the last I heard from them :(

My application status became "In review" about a week ago but didn't get any kind of notification after that, does this mean that I'm rejected or there is still hope?

I contacted the department and they told me the admissions committee will meet on March 26th, so we'll hear that week.

I was the one who had posted earlier. I was interviewed by a prof in late Feb. Got my official mail with funding just few days before. I have declined it as am heading to the States (to a much lower ranked University as I love the profile (prof+lab) on offer).

I mailed the grad committee asking when the admission decision will be shared. Got a one line response: 'The last decisions will be announced on April 3rd 201'8. I think they will send the rejects then :(

Nothing here. Was expecting a result this week based on previous decision release dates...wonder if that will happen

I haven't heard anything. In this forum, there is a guy being accepted as far as I know. Too nervous. Did you contact the committee?

Has anyone heard anything? Last couple of years they notified about acceptances around March 20.
