Has the EE Department sent Admit and Rejection decisions yet ?

No email. Checked website.

Was offered admit for Fall '20 as well, but no deferral. Hence I applied again. Before giving admit they asked for financial proofs for the i20 amount to be submitted in 14 days. After 4-5 days of submitting them got mail to check portal. There I could see my status update.

Emailed to check the portal. Have already accepted offer from another university. Good look to everyone!

don't lose hope! i just got an interview request from a POI. I had one other disastrous interview with a different POI in January.

I think power and energy group at UMich have no money for funding. This is because Umich cannot release results of admission.

I am told the last batch of acceptances go out in the week of 4/1. They have given most of the RAs and TAs and are likely waiting for their undergraduates to decline their offers to allow a few more admits. All decisions will be given in the next two weeks I believe.

To the guys waiting: Don't lose hope. Although I just accepted the offer last week, I guess the Universities with a weak commettie (POI could take us in under his own decisoin), have not send the rejections out because the students get accepted would probably decline the offer. Therefore, you guys are not rejected because the POIs are still waiting for ones' decisions of whether accepting or rejecting the offer. If rejected, here comes your chances!!

Got admit on 19th, and a bunch of others also got theirs that week. Looks like all admits are out

Contacted by a PI not mentioned in the SOP. Had an interview and received an offer from PI. He mentioned that I should get the official letter in a couple of days. Area: AI/ML

To the post about Michigan Electrical PhD below me, I am in the same boat as you. No idea if to take the silence as rejection or not

Applied by the deadline (15 Dec). Still no communication from the department or the profs. on the application status. Can anyone tell what is this supposed to mean? Is it a rejection?
