Hi, is anyone planning on declining the offer for a masters in media arts and sciences? On a wait list for funding and really really wish to pursue this program. It would be heartbreaking to come this close to your goals and yet not being able to pursue it because of no funds.

Now I've only got four more schools to hear from with only a week before I have to make decisions hahaha. Narrowing down my decisions is actually a blessing for me, so I'm not heart broken. Good luck everyone.

I actually received an email from the DGS stating quite vaguely that I'm among the top potential candiates and that they are waiting to resolve some funding issues, but also to tell me that I won't receive an admit unless they can guarantee funding. It was a few weeks ago. I have no idea what that means...

After discovering that my initial POI might need to take an administrative position, I was matched with another faculty with similar interests. Conversation with her on 4/4. Received acceptance that day with a teaching appointment!

Was told on the top of the waitlist in early March; unofficially accepted on 4/1 and the official letter arrived on 4/2.

Wait listed by email yesterday, interviewed this morning, accepted a few hours later. A very pleasant surprise!

Has anyone else heard from the Gender Studies PhD Program at IU? I've only seen one person having been accepted and I haven't seen any rejections or waitlists. Does anyone know what's happening? Good luck!
