I attended GEARRS. Accepted with TA funding! So excited!!!

TTPB: How are they communicating about the acceptance to the professional program after previously giving out a reject

Had received a rejection for thesis based MS earlier. Got a mail saying they are converting it into a course based MS now.

Got rejected a few days ago, but they are expanding admission this year so my rejection turned into an admit.

Switch from waitlist to admit

Was wait listed initially, but now rejected.

Waitlisted then finally rejected today.

Guys, if you didn't receive any comment or feedback from the status page, you can email to admission office to check the result. I think they just forgot to post.....

To the poster below. I haven't heard anything from them, but I guess that isn't necessarily a good thing seeing as they haven't sent out rejections yet.

For the comment below: I haven't even been notified that I was waitlisted. Were you? My application is always on "submitted." Browsing previous years, apparently they publish the final results about the 04/16ish

Anyone hear from CU? Or get off the waitlist?

I think I was probably waitlisted since I had a phone interview with a professor and then had radio silence up until this decision came out. The letter said that they received over 200 applicants this year and their acceptance rate was < 10%, which seems in line with what other people have reported from previous years.

I received email telling me to check my portal. When I looked at the portal I was surprised to find I was accepted.

Wasn't counting on getting in but had a couple positive interviews with people here. Heard ~200 people applied to the program.
