Unsurprised by this, as I was accepted to another English MSt at Oxford!

Did any one get interview invites yet? I couldn't see any post here!

I did not get an interview. I think they just directly reject anyone without a master degree.

Re-evaluation against the candidates who apply in the next application deadline in late January. Anyone received updates from the uni?

A lot of Arts & Humanities seem to be taking a while this year. I've yet to hear anything/hear from anyone who has heard anything RE DPhil in Music. Best of luck to all who are still waiting.

Anyone heard anything from the course? Have only seen one person invited to interview so far! Going a bit crazy...

"We wish you every success with your plans for your future studies."

TTPB: As someone who graduated from this MSc course recently (< 3 years), I can reassure you that the course is not what many people think it is. The department does not really care what happens to MSc students and as such the course is badly structured, with teaching quality being sub par.

Applied by the early deadline. Third time getting rejected, so probably I'm just not the right fit.

Reserve for DTP last year, encouraged to reapply: proposal was better this year and I had my MPhil grades. Guessing that the competition was harder this year.

Brutal and heartbreaking. So competitive. Even with great grades from my JYA in Oxford. A humbling email!
