Went to UNC for undergrad, worked in a UNC research lab senior year, and have been working for going on 2 years now full-time as a research tech in the same lab. 2/3 recommendation writers were current professors, one had previously been. I think my rejection came from a disconnect in the type of research I do, versus the faculty at UNC. I'm primarily a qualitative scholar, whereas faculty here primarily do critical/cultural research. | ||||
