If you're planning on turning down an offer from Penn, please do so soon :)

If you plan on going to another school, please turn down your offer! This is my absolute dream program.

Not happy about this one. No communication from the department until March.

Ignore Status. Has anyone heard back from them?

Got 3 admissions, and rejected by 13 programs. Happy but disappointed at the same time. Good luck to y'all.

applied to 5 top poli sci phd programs this year, all rejected. International student, field: political communication, without poli sci degrees. Poli sci phd programs are so competitive and it seems that they don't welcome students from outside majors, compared with so called "tech" phd programs like hci, information, and cs, these programs seem more friendly. However, got a MA offer from Chicago MAPSS - poli sci. It's an encouragement.
