In response to the question about the UW wait list: I just got the email a couple hours ago. I think they called the people who got accepted last week (based on posts here), but I'm not sure how many more wait list emails they have to send. Good luck to you!

To answer the Alabama question I saw posted earlier, I emailed the English graduate department about my own status and was told that all those who had been accepted/waitlisted had already been contacted by the program director.

To the person who posted about their University of Washington waitlist, did you receive your email today (3/9)? Also, do you know how long notifications have been going on for?

This is all going better than I expected. 1a/2w/3r/4p

1a/1w/3r with 6 pending. Impersonal form rejection.

I'm so excited! Voicemail from Julie Agoos.

Totally expected at this point. 1a/1w/3r

I saw two posts about UC Riverside. Could someone please let me know what kinds of notifications have been sent out for poetry? Acceptances/offers m, rejections, waitlist offers...I would greatly appreciate it.

Also curious which of the waitlisted folks are which genre. 4a/1w/1r

Message from Clint McCown emailed to Thom Didato & fwd'd to me this morning. I was wait listed for funding, & it is "not probable" that an assistantship will open up. I'm confused because their website says "all full-time students funded." I tried calling, but there was no answer, & I'm still waiting for a response. Maybe they prefer email.... 2a/1w/6r and still in phase II purgatory for Ole Miss D:

One sentence rejection and no e-mail about it. Not the most respectful rejection ever. 0a/0w/3r/8ip
