I'd allowed myself a tiny bit of false hope since I wasn't in the first round of rejections last week, but really think the process may have been different this year with a later deadline, so who knows where those of us in this second round of rejections stood. I'd fallen in love with the writing produced here. Oh well, onward and forward.

Kate Bernheimer still doesn't love me. Second year in a row.

Sigh...Just got a very nice email. I saw some wait-listed a few days back, and I thought: if they are done with wait-list, then they probably have done the acceptances...I now can officially cross out UA off my list...

My first choice. Sigh.... 0a/0w/2r

Bummed.

Fun.

Nice!

I had long ago accepted that this was coming but I wasn't expecting such a nice email. I'm not one to complain about terse emails. I just thought this was especially reassuring.

The nicest rejection email I've ever received. A whole lot nicer than that projectile milkshake.

I had also marked this as a rejection, and received official news today.

I'd already marked this as a rejection. Got the official email today.

Follow up to interview last week. This is my top choice and I will really be holding out for this one!

Follow up email after interview last week.

#2 on the Waitlist for a TAship!!!
