To the poster below who got the interview for UCSD's Biostatistics PhD. Could you share your profile? (GRE, research/pubs, etc) Thanks

Would be admitted to PhD if winning NSF - guess I’ll wait. If not, will be considered for MS with the option to change for PhD at the end of 1st year.

I received this on e-mail, "You have been nominated for admission by the UC San Diego Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department! Your application is now being reviewed by the UCSD Graduate Division."

So sad :( 0a/1r/9p

Email from political science admissions with attached letter including funding details. Official letter forthcoming from UCSD admissions dept.

Does anyone have an idea when UCSD and UCLA will release admission decisions for the bioengineering masters programs?

Interviewed on Jan 18th. With first year fellowship.

I got 3.01 undergrad GPA, but I went to Columbia (Ivy league) for MA with 3.4 GPA. Plus 4.5 writing and 160 verbal on GRE helped. They were really looking for diversity in terms of "interdisciplinary" because I studied film studies.

relatively low ug gpa, year of research in desired field, few conferences and pubs

To the UCSD poster below, congratulations! Was this an official notification?

To the post below. Nobody has posted an acceptance on here, so it looks like nothing has come out yet. At least someone would've mentioned something by now otherwise. Don't worry! I am waiting as well.

IR subfield. Not surprised since UCSD is not a close fit.
