Hi I just received an accepted e-mail. My GPA is of 3,7, I am from Latin America and graduated in my home country. I had zero journals, but I took a summer course in an ivy league college a few years ago and I did a research summer internship in a high-ranked Canadian University (other than McGill). Does anybody receive any news from biological and biomedical engineering department? I interviewed a professor and submitted my application in the middle of january but still no response from the department. The intended pfofessor doesn't reply my e-mails too :(

Finally received a generic reject letter. Not unexpected. My fourth reject after UMN, UVA and TAMU. I have only admit from SDSU. UTD, UBC, UCD decisions pending. Can anyone suggest if SDSU is good enough school to go for MS EE in VLSI ? GRE: 315 (V - 152, Q-163, Under grad GPA: 3.3/4.0 Grad GPA: 3.7/4.0 Last degree was MS CS, major: Embedded Systems No publications 5 years relevant experience

Did anyone heard from the food science department? It's been 6 months since i have had submitted my application, still no response.

I got a letter of recommendation by email and I'm asked to give them an answer before April 15th. I already replied YES! This is exciting!

Almost perfect GPA, research experiences in the field, strong references and accepted to better schools. Heard that the department isn't accepting anyone wanting to do the thesis option but they won't accept anyone into the PhD program unless they have a MA Thesis lol. Don't apply.
