Could someone who got the CS PhD Offer tell me wheather you've got an interview? I also applied but got no interview and no notification. Did it mean that I was rejected in fact?

As expected

via email i was told to check my online applicant status page. Upon logging in I was presented with a letter of admission/offer, including funding. I'm very excited but also confused because I was initially told that admission and funding decisions would not be made until after the open house recruitment event on the weekend of Feb 13th. Oh well!

I thought it was safe to get a accept. Anyway, interest was not well aligned. Reject doesn't mean that you are not qualified. Cheer up and keep waiting for other university

First official reject! Kind of bummed, but also glad they didn't drag it out.

EconCS track, two interviews.

TTPB: For those who got acceptance from UofT, did you get the official letter or just confirmation from your POI. I have done the interview with POI, and he said he would recommend me to the committees, and the committee will make the final decision. I am wondering is this like a soft rejection? As from previous post, it seems that prof can make the final decision not the committees. Thank you!!
