Interview request from PI

Feb 10-12. Said they got 350 applications

Their letter to me via email: “ I would like to thank you for your interest in our Individualized Master’s Program at the University of Oregon. With regret, I must inform you that we are unable to extend an offer of admission to you for Fall 2019. Our program is small and enrollment limited.” I am broken about this, this was it, I have no other plans or goals. Now what? :’(

Geotechnical Engineering

I have been waiting for a decision from this program and decided to just contact them. I was told that all decisions would be made by the end of June. I don’t know if that means that they will be sending out decisions until then or what. Anyway, a longer wait for me and anyone else who applied. :(

The waiting is driving me insane! Anyone else apply to this program?

Anyone else apply? It's taking forever!

I still haven't heard from OSU or from UC Riverside. These were for PhD programs and the deadline to hear was April 15. I paid to apply to these schools and feel like I deserve a response from them either way. Has anyone else who has applied to these schools experienced this or have any advice on what I should do?

Waitlisted originally, sent an email stating they were still my top school mid-April, got interviewed, accepted + funding a week later. 2 years in industry, 3.9 psych GPA, no publications though. Hold out hope!

I was not informed about the decision, so I sent an email to the admission adviser and I found that they have offered to another one.

I interviewed last Wed (3/13/19) and was sent an informal acceptance via email yesterday (3/19/19).
